To complete the Pacific Foothold mission, you need to find 3 Gun Cleaning Oil, which can be looted from toolboxes. Simply go through all the toolboxes you come across, and you will eventually find some Gun Oil, but the drop rate is shallow, and other players may grab it before you. So, try playing the game solo or with a team. With randoms, there is always a possibility that your random team member would have grabbed the item you need.
As for Video Cassette Recorders, your best bet is to find them in supermarkets and any shop in general. Look on selves to find them. They can sometimes be in plain sight. The best place to look for them in Ashika Island is between the Beach Club and Town Center. There are a lot of shops there and you can usually find some there, if no one else has taken them. It’s best to hurry to the location as soon as you spawn. Another places where you can get them is in the Shipwreck area. Loot the houses in that area and you may get your hands on one.
Blow Torches can be found in the same places where you find Gun Cleaning Oil. To find the Blow Torch in DMZ, loot the tool boxes. Have been found in toolboxes in shipwrecks, refueling stations in the sea, strongholds, etc.
Blow Torches are one of the rarest items in the game, if not the most. Finding the Gun Cleaning Oil is rare, but the Blow Torches are at a different level. The only good thing is that you require only one of these to complete the mission and if you keep at it, finding one should not be difficult.
