How to Start The Missing Obelisk Spike Quest
To begin the Obelisk quest, head to the city walls above the eastern gate and find Commander Hackett standing guard. Take one of the side paths and climb the stairs to reach him. He’ll give you two special weapons that need tuning at the Hopeport Obelisk. Complete this quest to tune these weapons and your other weapons make them ready for use.
Where To Find The Missing Obelisk Spike
Next, you’ll need to go to the Hopeport Obelisk. It’s located south of Brannof Boulevard, just to the left of the Town Square. You’ll see a broken Obelisk and an NPC trying to fix it. The Obelisk is missing a spike, which is believed to have washed away. The NPC will give you a clue: the spike might have washed out to sea, but it’s actually much closer. You’ll find it in a canal in Wilhope Crossing. To get there, head south from the Town Square to the Eel Street Bridge. Then, go south again and take the first east turn. You’ll see a bridge over a canal with pufferfish. The spike is in the water, use your scanning to find it in the canal. Once you grab it, head back to the Obelisk, to repair it with the help of the NPC. After that you will be given an instruction tablet that will help you to operate the Obelisk in the game.
