The Malicious Armor is important if you want to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge, which is a great option for Fire Type users. However, you will need to invest quite a bit of time into the game in order to unlock the requirements needed to get the Malicious Armor.
The first thing that you need is the Violet version. In the game, make your way to the city of Zapapico which is in the eastern section of Paldea. You can do this after you have completed the tutorial, defeated the Open Sky Titan Pokemon Bombirdier, and unlocked the swimming ability with the Pokemon Miraidon.
You can reach Zapapico easily through the Great Crater of Paldea in East Province Area Three. Travel to the west of the city and you will find a fountain, next to which there is a woman waiting for you. She will invite you in for a trade.
She will want 10 Sinistea Chips for a strange curio. Sinistea chips aren’t that easy to get either, as you will need to defeat some high-level Pokemon called Sinistea. If you are looking for a tutorial then we have a guide for you here: How to Get Sinistea Chip in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Once you have the chips, return to the woman and give them to her. She will give you the Malicious Armor in return.
