This year Activision and Infinity Ward have satisfied the players with the launch of two COD games at a time. Modern Warfare 2 was released a few weeks back, and even before players completed exploring the game, Warzone 2.0 came.

New COD games come with new features, and Warzone 2.0 is no exception. This guide will help you know about the new Stronghold feature introduced in Warzone 2.0

Warzone 2.0 Stronghold Explained- How to Play?

Warzone 2.0 is already live for a few hours, and players can pre-install it from Steam, Battle.net, or any platform they want. Since the game has become live, players have become curious about the newly introduced features, and Strongholds are among them. Therefore, before you jump into the DMZ mode, you must be aware of the Strongholds that contain the most attractive loot.

AI Mazrah map has Strongholds that players can access and get attractive loot. Both the map and the stronghold feature are new introductions to Warzone 2.0. Strongholds generally contain AI players, but they are deadly. The Strongholds are available at the beginning of the match by finding the key that will spawn randomly on the map.

Strongholds are marked with green castle icons on the map and are primarily buildings containing tons of AI players guarding the loot items. After the first circle, players can get the Stronghold marked on the map, and now, they can go to the strongholds and get loot items. However, be careful of the AI players and Opponent players while inside a Stronghold.

If you are playing battle-royale mode, the objective is to defuse the bomb as soon as you reach the Stronghold. The first team to enter the Stronghold must defuse bombs in the Battle-royale mode. However, coming to the DMZ, the objective changes, and players now have to kill a set amount of enemies. Both AIs and Opponent team members count. Once you clear the AIs and other players looking for the loot in the Stronghold, you can get any item you want.

Another related feature is the Black Sites. The team clears the Stronghold first, gets the Balck Site key, and accesses Black Sites. These areas are marked with a Skull icon on the map. Black Sites are the upgraded Strongholds and are more challenging to clear. It even has a Juggernaut Boss to fight with. However, these areas contain more valuable loot items. Unfortunately, Black Sites are exclusive to the Battle Royale mode in Warzone 2.0.

That’s all you need to know about Strongholds in Warzone 2.0. If you have already started playing this game, start exploring the game, and you’ll find tons of things to try out.
