To build an effective AA tower for your Wardogs game, you can build it with just a few materials and a FOB. The AA tower will provide you with a higher ground level and visibility of the battle field along with the capability to launch the Talon missile from its tower base. In this guide, we’ll go through the steps to build the tower and protect your FOB.
How to Build a Portable AA tower
If you want a small defensive tower that you can build by yourself, this portable AA tower is a great option. You will be able to transport all the items needed in constructing your structure individually and build everything around a FOB. This tower lifts you up, giving you better visibility and reducing enemy sightings from below the tower.
In terms of items needed for this construction, a Tier 3 hammer, a FOB, a gun, a magazine, ammo, bandages, good protection, and building materials are required. Before starting your journey to the construction site, make sure to get yourself a Ural and stock it with as much ammunition as you can.
Building the FOB

Once you reach the location, place your FOB first. Always ensure that the FOB faces in a direction different from the one that you intend to use when firing from there. Placing the FOB wrongly may obstruct your shots because of the antennas and structures in it.
Secondly, place your pallets after dropping the FOB. This will give you additional cash and help minimize your losses in case you are killed during the process. Put a wall on both sides and then place the recon tower in the middle.
Ensure that the ladder faces towards the FOB. In this base, there is no need for a door. The reason why the base will be behind the enemy lines requires that you make it hard for them to access you without having the necessary equipment.
Protecting the FOB

You must also block the hallway under the tower using a Hesco block, which will not only prevent the enemies from going underneath your structure but provide you with some additional protection. While building the walls of your FOB, build them at least two sets of tall Hesco blocks; thus, your overall height will be four blocks tall.
You definitely don’t want the enemy to enter your FOB by driving a vehicle to it and jumping over the wall. If they manage to get hold of your FOB, then having a tower over them won’t really make any difference.
After that, you should double your lower Hesco wall; afterwards, build a one-way ladder, which would enable you to climb up to the top. You can use your FOB as a step, thus saving your resources on one Hesco block.
While building the ladder, utilize two Hesco blocks and construct up. Make one side half way up and climb onto the blocks to continue the construction on the other side, and keep repeating the process until you are done with the ladder. This makes a straightforward two blocks wide ladder to the top of the tower.
Building Missile Launcher

Now it is time to position the Talon missile launcher. Position it on the upper half of the tower. While building, ensure that you build from the maximum range possible so that the marker is always positioned at the same spot and you can easily build the structure.
After positioning the Talon missile launcher, climb up on top of the tower and begin constructing the Hesco blocks around the tower. Ensure that you construct the tower on higher ground as much as possible. High grounds are preferred since they provide visibility.
