Victoria 3 can now be played by using cheats and accessing the controls to operate the game. Here we will take a look at how to enable cheats as well as all console commands that can be used in Victoria 3.

To enable cheats, you need to enter the game’s debug mode. If you are using the Paradox Interactive launcher to play Victoria 3, then you can enter the debug mode by clicking on the Game Settings option found on the left, then scrolling till you can find the enable game in Debug mode option. Beside it is the Launch button that you have to click on. Your game will now launch in Debug mode. Steam players can also enable Debug mode by launching Steam and heading to their game library. From there, find Victoria 3, right-click on it, and select Properties. Head over to the Launch options and type -debug_mode.
Now that the game is in Debug mode, you can bring up the command window anytime in the game by pressing the ~ button on your keyboard. Achievements and saved games under Ironman mode will be disabled.
