While hunting is a crucial part of the game, nothing beats having the resource at your disposal. You can hunt all types of animals in the game and also tame them including the Lox. By taming the Lox, you can make a farm with them and multiply them. When required, you can get food as well as other resources from the animals. Lox is one of the most sought tameable animas in Valheim. However, you can also tame a range of other animals such as a Wolf. Keep scrolling through the post and we will show you how to tame Lox in Valheim and breed it.
How to Tame Lox in Valheim
Like the Wolf, the Lox is an aggressive creature in the game and capable of easily killing you. It gigantic and resembles a replete. You can find the creature on the Plains biome. These are herd animals and usually appear in large herds.
In order to tame Lox in Valheim, the basic resources required are Hoe, Wood, and Food. Food like barley and/or cloudberries. Here are the steps you can follow to tame animals.
- Use the Wood to make a flat surface for the Pen. When building the Pen with Round pole Fences, aesthetics is not of importance, but the Pen should not have holes. The pen should also include a door for the animal to enter and exit.
- Once the pen is made, drop the barley and/or cloudberries into the pen.
- Now, search for the Lox and when you see it, place the Pen at a location. Lure the Lox into the Pen and when it enters the Pen, close the door.
- It takes close to an hour before the animal is tamed. You can complete other things in the meanwhile. After the Lox is tamed, you can pet it in order to make the animal happy.
To feed the Lox further drop the food on the ground.
