The current patch- Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact already gave us so many new enemies including animal enemies and we love it. With the Sumeru patches being so successful and so many players returning to the game, it’s no wonder that Genshin Impact wants to keep things exciting and challenging for its players. Recent leaks have thrown light on some upcoming enemies in Version 3.6 and we’re here to discuss a bit about them.

New Mobs and Elites in Version 3.6 of Genshin Impact

For the longest time, we’ve only known the Cryo, Electro and Pyro Hilichurl Rangers but it looks like we’ll finally get two more elements in that roster. Anemo and Hydro Hilichurl shooters could pose a dangerous threat in the Abyss unless you have units like Kazuha or Venti or grouping and crowd control. If Hydro and Cryo shooters spawn in the same Spiral Abyss Chamber, they could keep your character frozen indefinitely unless you move quickly and kill them off.

We’re also expected to be getting Hydro and Dendro Consecrated Beasts which are elite enemies. Version 3.4 introduced us to the Anemo and Pyro Consecrated Beasts which are already a handful. A floor full of these beasts would pose trouble against most players unless you have powerful characters and skilled and experienced gameplay.

As for boss-level opponents, we’re leaked to be getting a new Abyss Elite comparable to the likes of Abyss Heralds and Abyss Lectors. Considering how the leak says they’ll wield 4 elements, it’s expected that they will also come equipped with a stupidly powerful aura and shield which will make defeating them harder as you cannot one-shot them no matter how strong your units are.
We’re also likely getting a new Weekly Boss which is indicated by the mention of a Trounce Domain. It’s customary for each region to have at least two Trounce Domains and it looks like Sumeru may already be looking at its second one. Though we have no idea who or what it might be, we can be sure it will at least be comparable to the Scaramouche weekly boss.

As an English Masters graduate, I always dreamt of becoming a writer as a profession. Alas! I was led astray by anime and gaming. I enjoy open-world RPGs that encourage exploration with easy but flashy combat along the way. Art and aesthetics also matter immensely to me so even in games my characters tend to stare off into space. If I’m not gaming or watching anime I’m probably just asleep and dreaming.
