One of the bosses in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred is Uber Duriel. He’s not only a fun and challenging fight but also a great source for some of the best gear in the game, including Mythic items, which are the top-tier equipment available. In this article, we’ll explain how to locate and summon Uber Duriel, along with a complete list of items you can get from him in the new Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Location of Uber Duriel in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

You can find Uber Duriel’s boss arena in the Gaping Crevasse dungeon, located in the Southern Expanse of Kehjistan. The nearest waypoint is in the city of Gea Kul, just to the west of the dungeon entrance. When you enter the dungeon, you’ll encounter a few enemy groups before reaching the boss arena, which features the summoning altar. To summon Uber Duriel, you’ll need two resources from other endgame bosses:

1. Mucus-Slick Egg: This drops from the Echo of Varshan fight on any Torment difficulty.

2. Shard of Agony: You’ll get this from the Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint fight, also on any Torment difficulty.

Since gathering these resources involves a lot of Helltide and Whispers of the Dead farming, it’s a good idea to team up with others on Discord or in Diablo 4 communities. This will significantly boost the number of Uber Duriel kills you can achieve each hour.

Summon Uber Duriel

Uber Duriel can only be found and summoned in the new Torment difficulties introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. To summon him, you’ll need to reach level 60 and complete a Tier 20 run of the Pit. The higher the Torment difficulty, the tougher the fight will be; Uber Duriel will have more health and deal more damage, while your character will face penalties to armour and resistances. However, taking him down on higher difficulties will be much more rewarding, with more Unique items dropping and a better chance of getting Mythic gear.

To summon Uber Duriel in any of the four Torment difficulties, you’ll need 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs and 2 Shards of Agony. Remember, you can use the new party finder to create or join groups of players. This way, you can share the materials in a rotation.

Uber Duriel has two loot tables. One is similar to other endgame bosses and allows you to farm specific Unique items, while the other is dedicated to the most powerful items in the game; Mythic Uniques.
