Throne & Liberty has a lot of side quests to keep you interested. One of the cool things about the game is that you get rewarded for exploring. In this quest with Kaleum, you’ll help investigate the pollution in the Ruins of Turayne. You’ll have to fight some magical creatures and help clean up the area. This is really important because it’s a big step towards fixing the Ruins. If you’re having trouble starting the quest or getting stuck, here’s a simple guide to help you finish it. How to Start the Examine the Contamination of the Ruins Quest
At the Watcher’s Post Watchmen’s Tower. There, you’ll meet Kaleum, who’s a really dedicated investigator. He’s trying to figure out what’s causing all the pollution in the Ruins of Turayne. You’ll learn about how the pollution started and why they have to keep checking on the ruins because of a really powerful wizard who’s been causing problems. Kaleum will use magic to connect you to a contaminant analyzer that can detect pollution. This is a level 1 exploration quest and before doing these you have to complete the Exploration of the Ruins of Turayne.
Examine the Contamination of the Ruins Quest
So once we’re done talking, we need to hurry to the half-buried church right in front of the tower. We’ll jump off the tower and fly to the tallest tower in the Ruins of Turayne. Once we’re near the half-buried church, we need to land carefully next to the cross. If we go too fast, we’ll overshoot and have to start over. Once we’re at the church, we’ll send a magic signal to complete the second task. After that, we’ll have to fight some zombies. We need to shoot the signal before it disappears. If we miss it, we’ll have to go back to Kaleum and start over.
So if you look at the map, you’ll see three circles. That’s where the zombies will appear. Jump down from the building and kill 15 zombies. You can find them all over the Ruins of Turayne. After you kill them, you’ll need to collect something called Contaminated Specimens from their bodies. Once you’ve killed all the zombies and collected all their specimens, the next thing you need to find is the Contamination Measuring Device.
Then, we’ll go to the southern crater and activate the contamination measuring device after we kill the zombies. This will help us learn more about the pollution. Next, we’ll have to fight 15 skeleton soldiers from the Sylavean Order. We’ll need to kill them and collect contaminants to help us investigate even more.
So now that we’ve defeated the skeleton soldiers, we need to go to the northern crater. We’ll activate the contamination investigation device there, and that will complete the quest. This is a big step towards cleaning up the Ruins of Turayne.
