There are four Captain Spirits to collect all over Chapter 3, and most of them are dropped from bosses. The Spirit of Captain Void Illusion, on the other hand, is only obtainable as an item. So you have to figure out a way to find this item in the game. To do that, make your way to Valley of Ecstasy > Longevity Road. From the shrine, turn around and go straight through the snow while keeping to your left. Keep an eye on the left side and you will find a large corpse of a colossus

Interact with the corpse to pick up the Captain of the Void Illusion spirit. To get the other spirits in the game, you can find them in the following locations

Captain Lotus-Vision: Pagoda Realm > Upper Pagoda
- Turn around from the shrine and drop down the cliff directly across. Fight the boss inside the prison cell to get the spirit
The Spirit of Captain Wise-Voice: Pagoda Realm > Mani Wheel
- Defeat Captain Wise Voice as part of the main story quest
The Spirit of Captain Kalpa-Wave: Valley of Ecstasy > Longevity Road
- Defeat Captain Kalpa-Wave as part of the main story quest
