The Price of Freedom is one of the missions from the Ghost Recon Wildlands: Last Rites in which you have to help Emily Price reach the Alta Gracia Mines and arrest La Llorona. You have to clear a highly guarded base and look for La Llorona inside the mines while bringing her back alive. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete The Price of Freedom mission.
The Price of Freedom Mission
The mission starts in Villa Verde, where Emily Price is going to tell you your objective before sending you off to the Alta Garcia Mines. Go to the marked point in Villa Verde where Emily will be found at the edge of the farmland.
Give her enough time to explain the mission, then select the Lead prompt when you approach her. She will start to follow you, hop into any vehicle and drive to the Mines. As you get closer to the mine, park your vehicle some distance from the mine entrance.
Clear the Base and Enter the Mine
Before entering the mines, spend some time dealing with the enemies outside. Try to find a good location and use the drone in order to scan the base. Tag the Cultists with the drone and use Sync Shot to kill the enemies without alarming them.
Once the area near the entrance is cleared, head inside the mines. Your Night Vision or Thermal Goggles will help you see in the dark, which is a great way to spot any enemies along your path. When you enter the first big room, search the table for the “Balance” Picture Evidence Document. Once you gather the evidence, continue moving through the tunnels until you enter the last room. Interact with the door in order to start the cutscene and meet La Llorona.
Capture La Llorona and Extract to Espiritu Santo Alpha
Your end goal here is to capture La Llorona alive. After the cut scene, you have to bring her back to the extraction point using the mine. After the capture, start guiding her towards the extraction point using the tunnel. The Cultists will try to kill you as you move back.
Order your squad to Fire mode in order to kill any enemy coming your way while you move La Llorona. If you have to fight any enemy, you can free her for a while, kill the enemies and capture her back afterwards.
Continue to move until you come to the mine entry. Be careful in the final battle outside because you should survive along with La Llorona. It is recommended to take cover behind your allies while they do all the fighting, so you can focus on keeping both of you alive. Outside, find a vehicle and take La Llorona into the passenger seat.
Head over to the hideout for extraction located in Espiritu Santo Alpha, which is situated southwest of the Alta Gracia Mines. Upon reaching the hideout, exit the car and drag La Llorona out of it. Take her to the door of the hideout and interact with the door. This will hand her over to your team and complete The Price of Freedom mission.
