This quest is really fascinating and is very much centered on the lore in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. You need to travel towards the Horns in the South, and this quest demands that you go through ruins, shipwrecks and deserted caves to learn about what became of the lost ship, The Andraste.
The quest is able to perfectly balance exploration, narrative progression, combat, and a touch of maritime mystery, making it an absolute play for those who are interested in the deeper story of the game and limited rewards.

Starting the Quest

To begin the quest, head to Ron’s Tavern in the Horns of the South. Inside the tavern, speak to Lady Elaine, an adventurer and scholar that is fascinated by lost knowledge. She introduces you to the story of an old vessel, The Andraste, and will give you a book entitled The Last Voyage of Andraste. Your first mission is simple—read the book, then answer some questions about lore that Elaine poses to test if you’ve been paying attention.
Once you’ve responded to her questions, Elaine officially charges you with finding the wreck of Andraste and claiming its lost treasure, starting your actual quest.
Speak to Rhydderic at the Fortress Museum

Lady Elaine sends you to Rhydderic, the local historian and curator of the Horns of the South museum. You can find him at the Fortress Museum, which is in this area as well. Rhydderic is strange but pleasant. He tells you about the Andraste and places a possible wreck site on your map at Smuggler’s Bay, so off you go there next.
Investigating the Wreck of the Andraste

You must submerge into the water to discover the remains of the shipwrecked vessel. When you arrive at what is left of The Andraste, you will discover Captain Lex’s diary, which includes details regarding the precious items that the crew brought with them into a cave prior to departing the ship. You’ll also discover the Aegis of Retribution, a strong shield that is a precious item of equipment.
This part of the quest is packed with environmental exploration, and you have sea life or hostiles around you, so some fighting or sneaking underwater will be expected.
Entering the Castaway’s Cave

Having completed the captain’s journal, your next task is to find the cave mentioned in his writings. The cave is located under cliffs close to The All-Mother’s Temple. You’ll ultimately confront the Scourge of the Seas, which is a high-level boss enemy who’s the final guardian of Andraste’s cargo. Defeating this boss will be rewarded with the Tidepiercer, a rare and heavy weapon that would be best utilized in melee sets.
Beyond this, you’ll also stumble upon the remains of a Fore-Dweller, an ancient being whose presence hints at deeper secrets and mystical power tied to Avalon’s forgotten past.
Return to Lady Elaine
After you’ve cleaned out the cave and secured the relics, go back to Ron’s Tavern and speak with Lady Elaine to complete the quest. She will want to hear about your discovery, especially the Fore-Dweller relics, and reward you with 1000 XP for completing the quest.
Finishing the side quest rewards with decent loot and experience, but also unlocking more mythological background of the old civilisations preceding the present age.
