The Cycle’s second installment is set for release sometime soon, and here is everything there is to know about the title, including release date, gameplay, and other features.
Developer Yager’s The Cycle: Frontier will follow the same gameplay mechanic as its first installment, with a PvEvP FPS outlook. There is no word on the release date, other than it will be released sometime this year. There is a closed beta testing going on and if you are lucky you can still gain access to the playtest by applying on The Cycle: Frontier’s game profile on Steam.
The Cycle: Frontier is a free-to-play massively multiplayer FPS, where you play as a Prospector who has dropped down to planet Fortuna III. Your mission is to find as much valuable loot as possible and make it out of there alive. You will meet enemies in the form of other players or beasts in the wilderness who will try to take everything you have. Since this is multiplayer, you can team up with friends or run through the game solo. Find enough items that will help you upgrade your gear and equipment or help you buy better items. Accepting contracts will help you achieve your goal much faster with higher rewards at stake. Planning and execution are key here, so you should come prepared before setting foot in this morbid world.
The Cycle: Frontier will likely be released for PC, but there is no other mention of any other console. This post will be updated once the relevant information is available.
