After you find the entrance to Caldera St. Station, Alan will use his subway pass to get inside. There is an Echo you can investigate once you are past the main area. After interacting with it, visit the Writers Room to unlock a new scene and fragment. Once you return, the scene of the subway will change, giving you access to the deeper sections. From the ticket counter, follow the trails of blood. It will lead you to the abandoned tracks, and ultimately towards a door on your left.
Enter through this door to go to the lower levels of the subway. Keep following the blood trail outside the door and head right from there. At the end of the tunnel you will spot an open door on your right. Just beside the open door, on the left side, you will find the subway map taped to the board.
