The Adoring Fan is adept in carrying any extra items you don’t wish to carry on your person because of his skills in scavenging, concealing, and weight lifting. With his scavenging abilities at hand, he will also assist you in gathering additional resources.
How to Unlock the Adoring Fan?
When building your character, you should choose the ‘Hero Worshiped’ attribute if you want to meet the Adoring Fan in Starfield to convince him to join your party.
Although there are many other, more beneficial attributes available, among them is Kid Stuff, allowing you to visit the adorably sweet parents. However, the Adoring Fan is simply just an overenthusiastic, adoring fan. No one would deny being with a relentless, slightly ominous hype man following them through space for sure.
The Adoring Fan should enthusiastically run up to you as you depart the Spaceport after you choose the trait and travel to the New Atlantis city, yelling, “by Vectera!” repeatedly at the top of his lungs.Don’t worry if he doesn’t show up straight away—he could come toward you at another moment when you’re in New Atlantis.
You will have to engage the Adoring Fan in conversation when he approaches, and you can choose to accept him as a part of your crew on the vessel or not. Although we can’t say for sure what happens after you reject him, we assume he’s not pleased and you’ll forfeit your ‘Hero Worshiped’ attribute.
You can ask him to greatly boost how eagerly he is your fan, have him spend money to be a part of your crew and be near you, or demand him to tone it down. These are just a few possible interactions you might have with him once he joins your crew. However, attempting to talk him out of his fixation with you would only result in his leaving your crew. You are able to attack him if you decide that you’ve had plenty of him eventually. Though it’s a true shame you can’t eject him from the spacecraft mid-grav-jump, trust us, we tried.
