Luckily, you can now craft a Big Chest to take care of all your storage requirements. The Big Chest offers 70 storage space as opposed to the regular chest, which offers just 36 slots. To get the crafting recipe for the Big Chest, make your way to Robin’s carpenter shop in the Community Center. You can find the shop if you head north. You have to visit the store during its opening times, between 9 AM to 5 PM on most days except Tuesdays. Also, it closes early on Fridays, at 4 PM. Talk to Robin to access the shop’s menu and purchase the Big Chest blueprint. It will cost 5000 coins to buy it. If you can’t find the blueprint in the shop, you should check whether you have updated the game to version 1.6
Now, you can craft the big chest once you have the required materials. Below are the items you require to craft big chest
- 120x Wood – Obtained by chopping trees with an Ax
- 2x Copper Bars – Get Copper Ore from Copper Nodes using the Pickaxe or purchase Copper Ore from the Blacksmith. Then place 5 Copper Ore inside the Furnace along with 1 coal to smelt it into Copper Bars.
To build the Big Chest, head over to the Crafting Tab in the main menu, then click on the Big Chest icon there.
