Typhon’s Rock is a secret location, by exploring its tunnel mazes, you will be able to find two valuable things there: A Blaster upgrade of the Plasma module and a helpful charm. Also, both the items are well-hidden, so one would have to search for them and, at times, solve some puzzles to get there. As it has numerous curves, you should always be on the alert. However, if you are patient enough and follow the proper steps, you will be rewarded with these powerful items that will boost your game.
How to Get Typhon’s Rock Treasure on Flyer’s Ridge
When searching for Typhon’s Rock, the first thing you have to do is locate a prominent mountain on the map. When you are at the base, try to find a narrow wind tunnel, an area that is exposed to strong winds. This is the entrance to the hidden treasure. Be careful entering, as the strong winds make it difficult to move around. Use your skills or tools to navigate the tricky terrain. After getting inside the tunnel, you will see a cave. Proceed further by going down into the cave.
How to Get the Ancient Hunter Charm
Keep following the path, and you’ll see two places where you can swing across the gaps using ropes. After that, continue to follow the path until you reach a vertical wall you can climb with two wind traps.
To get past the wind traps, face them and climb up half of the wall on the right side. Don’t step into the wind! Wait until the wind stops, then quickly climb up the wall and jump to the wall on the left. Continue climbing when the wind allows. At the top, keep going forward until you reach another wind trap. Wait for the wind to stop, then run across and jump down to the ledge below. Climb up the wall on your right and go through the tunnel. Kay will start to slide. When this happens, jump at the end of the slide to grab onto the wall across from you.
Follow the path, and you’ll find a place to rappel down safely. After you land, turn around and look to your left. You’ll see a turbo-lift that’s not working. To the right, there’s a big boulder blocking a vent. If you can’t find it, use Nix’s ability to see the wire from the turbolift. Follow the wire, and it will lead you to the boulder. Use your Power module on the Blaster to destroy the boulder.
After destroying the boulder, return to the turbo-lift and stand on the edge to see the vent you opened. Don’t move, and switch to the Ion module on your Blaster. Tell Nix to open the vent. When you see the device inside, shoot it to turn on the turbo-lift.
Take the turbolift to the top. You’ll be in an area with some tents. The Ancient Hunter Charm is in a chest in the second section on your left.
How to Get the BT-009S
After getting off the turbo-lift, go straight ahead until you reach a gap with a ledge on the other side. Run and jump to grab onto the ledge. Pull yourself up, and you’ll find the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger in the crate on the left. This also completes the quest to find the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger.
