As the third instalment in the Baldur’s Gate series, it continues to follow the dungeon and dragons theme of its predecessors. Players must participate in many quests and in a few of them, players will have many choices to make. One of the choices players will be making is whether Should players take Raphael’s Deal in Act 3 or not. This decision is somewhat important but also can be ignored altogether. This guide will show you whether to take Raphael’s Dead in Act 3 or reject it in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Should You Take Raphael’s Deal in Act 3?
In order to make the “Correct” choice of whether to take Raphael’s Deal or not, players need to see what are the ramifications of each of the choices. The choices are:
- Take the Raphael’s Deal
- Reject the Raphael’s Deal
- Ignore Raphael altogether in Act 3 (3rd secret option)
If players take Raphael’s Deal in Act 3, they will get the Orphic Hammer immediately which means they can free Orpheus. This will make Lae’zel happy and if players recruited Voss, he also gives the player’s powerful Legendary Greatsword for Lae’zel.
If players decided to reject Raphael’s Deal, he won’t be angry and won’t attack the players but just went back to his room at Sharess’ Caress. This decision is somewhat bad as players will not be given the Orphic Hammer and the powerful weapon. The only bad thing about this decision is that Raphael will have control of the story and that’s just make him more powerful than any other demon. (that’s just bad)
As for the 3rd option, players can delay the deal for some time and will make the rewards as well as the hammer wait for a bit.
The best way to make this a good thing is that players at first take the deal because they get the hammer but then ignore/ reject the other half of the deal to stop Raphael from having more power. Players can still go to House of Hope but with much more difficulty.
That’s all you need to know about whether to take Raphael’s Dead in Act 3 or reject it in Baldur’s Gate 3. If you find this guide helpful, you can check our website for more such guides and news about Baldur’s Gate 3 and other games.
