Resident Evil 4 Remake has arrived, and while exploring all the chapters in the game, you will encounter new bosses and new puzzles to solve. One of the puzzles you will encounter is in Chapter 7, where you will be blocked off from the next area while progressing through the Treasury.

Outside the gate, you will find four engravings on the wall, and three of the four have swords. The final engraving is missing a sword, and once you find it you have to arrange it in the correct order to unlock the gate. In this guide, we will see how to solve the four swords puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

This puzzle is quite easy to solve, and here we will explain how to go about it in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

When you first encounter the four swords puzzle in the treasury room, you will notice not all the engravings have swords. Walk over to each of them and pick up the swords placed. You will get the Rusted Sword, Golden Sword, and Iron Sword. You still need one more sword to complete the puzzle.

On your left, you will notice another gate with animal engravings on it. This is the animal gong puzzle, and we have covered how to solve it following this guide

Pick up the Bloodied Sword after completing the puzzle, then walk over to the engravings. Place all the swords in the following order

  • Standing Knight Mural – Iron Sword
  • Knighting Mural – Golden Sword
  • Killing Mural – Bloodied Sword
  • Gravestone Mural – Rusted Sword

If done correctly, you will unlock the gate to the next area and progress through Chapter 7.
