Once you have picked up the crystal marble from the wardrobe, head upstairs and place it in the slot on the door. You will now get the option to rotate it. The image that you need to place is shown below.

To get to this point, keep rotating the ball till it forms three distinct lines, sort of like a Y shape. You can rotate it clockwise or anti-clockwise while rolling the ball up or down. Eventually, it will start getting clearer, and it will look something like this.

Keep rotating the ball in whichever direction you wish till the lines get even sharper. It all depends on your rotation work at this point, so there isn’t a lot to ride on. Ultimately the beads will all align to form the first image. This will unlock the door automatically, and you can explore the room to get the Insignia Key and progress through Chapter 2.
