You need to find and bring a Soul Spark to Tal Ratha first before you can get these choices. The Soul Spark is found in The Eon Vault, N’Erud. There is an abandoned mine to explore, as the Soul Spark spawn is random for each playthrough. You can access the Eon Vault through the Putrid Domain dungeon in Abyssal Rift.

Once you reach the vault, explore the area for a building with a yellow light on top. Take the elevator down to the lower levels, then unlock the doors and explore. You will soon encounter a Soul Spark cylinder. Pick it up, then head back to the Forgotten Prison and enter through the other entrance. Soon you will meet Tal Ratha, and you will get two choices.

Be Eaten by Tal Ratha

If you choose to be eaten, Tal Ratha will do just that. You will meet a metaphysical entity resembling Tal Ratha, and you have to beat it to get rewards. For your efforts, you will get the Acidic Jawbone crafting material, which is used to craft the Gas Giant melee weapon.

Kill Tal Ratha

Choosing to reject Tal Ratha’s ideals will make you fight him. Defeat him to get the Spiced Bile crafting material, needed to craft the Nebula handgun.

Whichever option you pick, visit Ava McCabe in Ward 13 to craft your newly created weapon. If you like this Remnant 2 guide you can check out our other guides as well.
