Remnant 2 offers an array of weapons and items to use and strengthen your character. One of the more confusing weapons to get is the Chicago Typewriter. This item is hidden away in a secret area that you cannot access unless you walk down a specific path. If you wish to get this Tommy Gun in your weapon arsenal, keep reading. The Chicago Typewriter is a Tommy gun assault rifle, but getting it is tedious. Here we will see how to get the Chicago Typewriter in Remnant 2.

Before you find the Chicago Typewriter, you need the Biome Portal Key first. You can get the key after completing all the objectives inside the Labyrinth. You will soon reach the chamber where the final boss resides. Defeat the boss to receive the key from the Keeper as a reward. After that go to the Fractures Ingress area and go to the Entangled Gauntlet checkpoint. From here, follow the steps below.

  • Take the stairs on the right and go up. Go through the portal here
  • Once you are out of the portal, turn around and go behind the portal
  • There is another portal below. Jump through it
  • Go up the stairs and go through the next portal on your left
  • Enter the room on the left side and turn around. You will find boulders you can jump on
  • Scale the wall till you can spot a small opening on the right side
  • Crouch and go through it, but don’t jump down. Instead, climb up on the boulder on the right side and jump across.
  • Continue through the passage and you will reach the biome door. Use the Biome key here to gain access
  • You will be transported to Ward 13. There is a case beside you where the Chicago Typewriter can be obtained.
