Pokémon Sleep offers Shiny Pokémon, but like most Pokémon games, the encounter is random. There are 104 rare shiny Pokémon you can find in the app, but your chances of getting them are 1 in 450. And if you do get one, you can’t keep them forever, as every 7 days they rotate to bring in another Pokémon. Since your chances of encountering one are slim, there are a few things you can do to increase your chances.
- Increase Drowsy Power: Feeding Snorlax will shorten the time it takes for it to go to sleep, which increases your chance of finding more Pokémon. Feeding Snorlax its favorite food at fixed times will help you reach that stage quicker
- Meet the Sleep Requirement: You need 7 to 8 hours of sleep to help Snorlax achieve the drowsy state faster. Getting a score of 100 and helping Snorlax will inversely help encounter more Pokémon.
Keeping these two tips in mind, you can increase your chances of finding more Pokémon. This will help you encounter shiny Pokémon in the app. As mentioned above, Pokémon do rotate after every week, so you might find a new Shiny next time.
