But unlike the earlier games, you can unlock the Fast Travel option quite early in the game, just after the tutorial. You can get access to Fast Travel after visiting the region’s first Pokémon Center and after learning how to use the Rotom Phone. After that, you can check your map for the makers, there will be blue feathers beside a red Pokeball icon dotted around the map. These will be your fast travel points. You should not confuse them for plain feather icons, as these are Tera Raids for flying type Pokémon. But when you first start playing the game, you need to access all the Fast Travel points at least once before you can use them. By visiting all the Pokémon Stations like Pokemarts and Pokémon Centers, you can unlock Fast Travel points.

Once you have unlocked all travel points, you can pull up the map by pressing the Y button. Select the feathered Pokeball icon where you wish to travel, then select the Fly Here option. A Flying Taxi will appear to take you to your destination. This is a quick way to travel around the Paldea region without the need to find a flying or riding-type Pokémon.
