Persona 5 was first released in 2016, and within 3 years, a revised version came with lots of new content- Persona 5 Royal. This revised version has added lots of new things, including a new playable character- Kasumi. Her presence is prevalent from the very beginning. You’ll start your journey with Kasumi during the Faith Confidant storyline, but she is not a playable character at that time. Instead, she is one of the friends you can play with.
Again you’ll find Kasumi after unlocking Spaceport of Greed. During this mission, she will get her persona but won’t join your party until the very end of Persona 5 Royal.
