As mentioned above, Kitsun is a Flame Pal, so it does use fire abilities to hit its opponents. Its moveset is currently unknown, but from the trailer it can launch large fireballs and release fire tornadoes. They also seem to be found in packs, much like the Rayhound. And also like the Rayhound, they are spotted in rocky terrains, especially where lava is present. According to the Paldeck entry, they stand at Paldeck no.054. Their description is as follows
“Despite its appearance, Kitsun is extremely sensitive and will flee into a cave when spooked. Long ago, it was considered an ill omen if one were found nearby.”
Kitsun seems to be a high level Pal, since their starting level during the first encounter seems to be between level 39 and level 41. So probably players would have to scale tougher terrains and level up more before they can tackle a Kitsun. There isn’t much else known about their use outside of battle, but there can be a chance for them to be used as mounts.
