To get Polymer, you first need to unlock it from the Technology menu. This can be unlocked at level 33. Once you have the recipe unlocked, you can take it to the Production Assembly Line to craft it. But you would require the main materials for crafting Polymer, which is High Quality Pal Oil. This material will be dropped from Large Pals like Blazamut, Digtoise, Kingpaca, Mammonrest, Mossanda, and Wumpo. You can either capture or defeat these Pals to farm High Quality Pal Oil. You would require 2x High Quality Pal Oil to craft one Polymer. Take the Pal Oil to the Production Assembly Line to start crafting Polymer. Once you have Polymer, you can start crafting high level weapons like Single-shot Rifle, Pump-action Shotgun, and Assault Rifle
