Before you can craft the copper pickaxe, you first need to unlock the Memetics. Under Infrastructure, you can find copper pickaxes. You need to unlock the Smelting Essentials first so you can unlock further recipes. It will take 2 Ciphers to unlock the copper pickaxe recipe. Now that you have the copper pickaxe unlocked, you can head over to your Supplies Workbench to craft it. If you don’t have this workbench unlocked, you can find it under the Crafting section of the Memetics menu. Head over there and unlock Essential Tools, then Gear Workbench to get the Supplies Workbench. Place it on your base to use it
Now, for crafting the copper pickaxe, you require the following items
- Log x5 – cut down trees to gather logs
- Copper Ingot x7 – collect copper ore from copper nodes and smelt it at the furnace. You require x3 Copper Ore and x1 Charcoal to get 1x Copper Ingot
- Hide x2 – hunt animals to collect hide
Furnace can be unlocked from the Memetics menu, and it will require x20 Copper and x30 Gravel to craft one Furnace. Use the logs in the Furnace to get coal, which can help in producing copper ingots. Once you have gathered all the necessary materials, craft it at the Supplies Workbench to collect copper pickaxe
