To get wire, just follow the steps below.
- Craft a simple tanning station by getting the blueprint from the Essence Trader and building it using 6x Sticks and 10x Plant Fiber
- Collect animal hide and craft Straps in the tanning station
- Also purchase the blueprint for the simple workbench from the Essence Trader and craft it using 10x Wood Bundle and 4x Plant Fiber
- After that, browse the workbench menu and craft the Simple Mining Pick. You will need 1x Stone Block, 1x Wood Bundle, and 2x Straps
- Use the Mining Pick to collect Ore. Ore can be found all over the island
- Next, collect the blueprint for crafting the Simple Smelter from the Essence Trader. This requires 4x Stone Blocks and 6x Rocks for crafting
- Interact with the Smelter and place the Ores to craft Ingot
- Now that you have Ingots, again interact with the Smelter and choose the option to craft Wire
- Place the ingots to get wire
