Clash of Clans will be getting a new update soon, to supplement the Town Hall level 15 update earlier this year. There are a lot of new additions to the game, which players will be able to try out once they upgrade to the required level. With all the new troops and spells coming in the game, players might be wondering what they all are. Clash of Clans: Builder Base 2.0 Update Renovations
Builder Base was added to the game a couple of years ago, but it hasn’t been of much help other than getting the sixth builder in the game. Albeit being a useful upgrade, there isn’t really a point to keep the Builder Base around anymore. The battles were old and repetitive, and players don’t really get anything out of it once they have upgraded all their defenses and troops.

So, it’s good news that the devs are thinking of ways to improve the Builder Base. This is happening in the first quarter of 2023, which is when the new Builder Base 2.0 update will be dropping.
The neglected Builder Base will finally get some renovations, which Supercell has made clear by the following tweet.
The expectation of players is that the battles will be more fun and rewarding, as it is not so currently. It is also quite inconvenient owing to the way matchmaking is done, and extremely random. The new update is expected to remove Versus Battles, and improve the defenses of the base.
With the new experience, the devs hope that more players will continue to play Builder Base, and that there is more to it than just getting the sixth builder. Players need more incentive to keep playing this part of Clash of Clans, so the content updates will hopefully make the Builder Base more appealing to long-term players.
