If you’re working your way through the Tracking Treasure quest line on Mistfall Hunter, you will ultimately need to acquire the Bell Fragment and kill the Great Axe Berserker. Although both quests aren’t particularly hard to complete, there isn’t much direction provided by the game as to where they can be found. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Bell Fragment, how to locate the Great Axe Berserker, and the best way to defeat this elite enemy so you can complete the quest.
Tracking Treasure Quest

Upon spawning, check your map for the exclamation mark (!) quest objectives. Quest objectives could have various names; ensure that you go to the one that says Tracking the Treasure. The location of this quest may be close to your spawn point, or you could need to travel a bit far from there.

Upon reaching the location, you should see the Bell Fragment that you need to pick up. All you have to do is interact with the Bell Fragment to collect it; this way, the quest objective will be achieved right away. It is important to note that the Bell Fragment may not always be at the same location. If the location where someone has found it is not the same as yours, then simply follow the Tracking the Treasure objective marker from the map.
How to Find the Great Axe Berserker

As opposed to other quests, this quest does not show the enemy with a highlighted search area. Thus, you will have to search Hollow Grove until you spot the Great Axe Berserker. This enemy is rather common; thus, you will probably find one after exploring the map for some time.
It is better to start from the place near the centre of Hollow Grove since that is where most players have seen it. Some of its common spawn points are around Divine Anchor, Verdant Grounds, and Nameless Ship Grave, but this enemy isn’t secluded to these areas solely.
It is recommended that you pay attention to the enemy which holds a large greataxe. This enemy does not have its name over its head, but it is rather easy to recognise due to the fact that it has a huge axe and has an Elite icon than the regular enemies nearby.
How to Defeat the Great Axe Berserker

Once you find the Great Axe Berserker, kill it just as you would any other elite monster. The battle is not that hard, assuming you have the right gear for the zone. Once you have defeated the Great Axe Berserker, your quest will update accordingly.
Learn Its Attack Pattern
The Great Axe Berserker’s basic method of attack is slow and heavy axe swings. All attacks have a wind-up time, which will give you sufficient reaction time to dodge out of the way. Rather than trading hits, watch for the attack animation and dodge to counterattack. After it finishes its combination of attacks, hit it once or twice and back off before continuing your attack sequence. If you stay in close, it will be easy for it to hit you with its next heavy axe swing.
Manage Your Stamina
Always maintain enough stamina to avoid being dodged. If you exhaust your stamina bar completely, you will be exhausted, and you won’t be able to dodge or throw heavy blows for a while, which makes you an easy target. Do not heal yourself when the Berserker is hunting you down. Create some space or give it some time after throwing a blow.
Use Your Class Strengths
- Mercenary: Block regular attacks and counter after successful defences.
- Ranged classes: Keep your distance, attack between the Berserker’s swings, and reposition often.
- Fast melee classes: Stay mobile and rely on quick attacks instead of heavy combos.
After the Great Axe Berserker is defeated, the quest objective for the Tracking Treasure quest will be completed, enabling you to proceed to the next objective. In case you have difficulty locating this enemy, look out for the elite enemies that spawn in Hollow Grove.
