In Shattered Space, players will embark on a quest called “Exhuming the Past.” The quest will be about the history of a mighty group, House of Va’ruun, who experienced a great and huge catastrophe in Dazra. Players will be able to know secrets unveiled through exploration in the ruins of Dazra as they slowly uncover details about the events leading to the fall of the House. Hasamk Dul’kehf has mentioned a potential point of interest at Ma’leen Dam, southeast of Dazra. He’s unsure what you might discover there, so it’s worth investigating.

How to start the quest

To reach Ma’leen Dam, you’ll need to travel southeast of Dazra and may encounter Phantoms along the way. Once there, you’ll discover that access to the dam requires an ID card. A young boy named Comrak Abbas informs you that it is not possible to enter without an ID, despite your concerns for his safety. Comrak insists that the dam is secure and that he’s also tryied to gain access.

Comrak noticed that Anasako Va’ruun arrived before you with a group of people who seemed very serious. Comrak mentions that Anasako was believed to have disappeared and that he saw them entering the dam with ID cards.

He also found a card after they went inside but didn’t use it for fear of getting into trouble. Comrak later entrusted the card to Kaviil, who lives in a seaweed farm near the dam. You find Kaviil and persuade him to give you the card. With the card in hand, you go to the dam and use it to gain access.

Ma’leen Dam is now accessible. The House of Del’khef believes there may be information there that could help with the situation in Azra. It’s worth exploring to see what can be found. Inside the dam you will find more information about the phantoms.
