In Destiny 2, there is a mission called the Lunar Case File Collector. This mission consists of scanning six case files that are scattered around the moon. However, you can only find the items if the moon is under the Distortion influence; therefore, you should be aware of the rotation and make sure that it’s taking place. This guide will tell you about each location so you can collect every case file.
Luna Case File Collector
In order to complete your task in the “Lunar Case File Collector”, you should find and scan all the case files that are located around the Moon. First off, it is important to ensure that there is a distortion currently taking place on the Moon. There will be indications on the destination map that show if there is an active distortion, as you will see red markings on the destination map.
Case File 1 – Anchor of Light
From the Sanctuary fast travel location, go to the location called Anchor of Light. On reaching the destination, walk towards the right part of the map and follow the tunnel there. The first case file is located inside this tunnel. Just go up to the case file and scan it.
Case File 2 – Anchor of Light
Once you get your first file, take your Sparrow and go down the road near your location and reach another place, Anchor of Light, where you will find your second file close to the first one.
Case File 3 – Archer’s Line
Go back to the Sanctuary fast travel station and walk along the path on your left. Go along the corridor, climb across the large crane, and then turn left again. Walk down the hill and go all the way down to the end of the corridor, where you will find the next case file.
Case File 4 – Archer’s Line
Return from there and go uphill again, then turn left. Proceed until you reach the end of the area, where you will see a little room. Inside that room, towards its end, you will find the fourth case file.
Case File 5 – Hellmouth
Exit the room and move towards the hallway near you. Once inside the area, make your way to the right and head for a smaller building where another case file awaits you for scanning.
Case File 6 – Hellmouth
After obtaining the fifth file, go back out of the area and take the path from the Hellmouth on your Sparrow, continuing straight ahead until you find the sixth file case. Scan the case file and collect it to advance in achieving the Lunar Case File Collector goal. Having scanned all six case files, you will have obtained all Moon case files.
