As mentioned above, Umbral Eyes are rare to find, and you will only encounter them by chance. There are several spawn points for it when you cross over to the Umbral Realm, so try to stay within the realm to find them. Since they spawn randomly, you have to frequent certain popular spots while in Umbral to find this item.
To use Umbral Eyes, you need to find a vendor called Molhu in Skyrest Bridge. You can spot this vendor after shifting to Umbral while in Skyrest Bridge. If you talk to Molhu, he will help you equip the Umbral Eyes in your Umbral Lamp. To equip more eyes into the lamp, you need to upgrade your lamp using Antediluvian Chisels. You have to talk to Molhu, as he is the only one who can upgrade your lamp further.
You will receive several bonuses while using Umbral Eyes in your Umbral Lamp. You can get the following bonuses
- Any enemy that falls within the range of the Lamp’s siphon will be slowed
- After entering the Umbral Realm, the user will receive damage immunity for a short duration
- During a heavy attack charge, the user’s posture cannot break and any damage received during this time will be turned into wither damage.
