Once you unlock Hyperdrive in Star Wars Outlaws, your adventures will take you across multiple star systems. The Syndicate quest “Passenger” is one such mission available after leaving Toshara. This guide will walk you through the quest and offer advice on making the best choice at its conclusion.
A Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Passenger in Star Wars Outlaws
Like the quest “The Broker,” “Passenger” begins after you return the relic to the Ashiga queen. Following your conversation with the Crimson Dawn agent, you’ll be tasked with acquiring a mysterious, unnamed cargo in the orbit of Kijimi.
Upon arriving at Kijimi, you’ll discover that the ship carrying the cargo has been destroyed. Follow the debris trail to locate an escape pod. However, be cautious, as an enemy ship will capture the pod. Your mission is to follow the enemy ship without harming the cargo, so refrain from firing your weapons.
The pirate ship will briefly maneuver through the debris field before escaping to the Akiva system. Use your Hyperdrive to follow them to Achra station. Upon arrival, enter the red door on your left and listen for a call for help from the trapped person in the adjacent room.
To rescue your friend Jadd, you must acquire the keycard from Procyon Wy, a blue Pantoran located deeper within the station. Find her in the Cantina engaged in conversation. Listen from a nearby seat until she finishes talking, then send Nix to steal her keycard.
Kay faces a dilemma while saving Jadd. She must decide whether to let Jadd keep a list of Pyke informants or take it for herself. Let’s explore the consequences of both choices.
Let Jadd Keep the List
Jadd will ask you to create a diversion while returning to Dart Subterra. Your reputation with the Pyke Syndicate will increase drastically, as they should be grateful for such a service. On the other hand, your reputation with Crimson Dawn will take a big hit. You will also get 2000 credits as a reward.
Take the Pyke Informant List
Jadd will feel highly betrayed and disappointed in you since you failed to trust him. Crimson Dawn’s reputation will go up significantly; they should like this on your part. But Pyke Syndicate’s reputation will be ruined, and you will gain 1000 credits as a reward.
Should you betray Jadd’s trust for personal gain?
Giving the Pyke Informant List significantly boosts the Pyke Syndicate’s reputation and gives a bonus of 1000 credits over letting Jadd keep it.
In the long run, it may be more beneficial to take the Pyke Informant List since the Faction Gear of the Pyke Syndicate, Imperial Disguise set, will help in getting around all sorts of Imperial-restricted areas without raising any alarms, which can be a significant plus for future missions.
