How to Heal during Combat in Jagged Alliance 3

Since Jagged Alliance 3 is a turn-based game, you can heal your mercs in battle. To heal a wounded merc, click on your medic and select the Bandage skill during your turn. After that, select the wounded merc to start healing. You can hire medics in the operations menu, and they have a red cross icon on their profile. 

How to Treat Wounds in Jagged Alliance 3

Of course, healing them in battle will not treat wounds, and while they get some health restored, they are not properly restored. Treating wounds can be done once the battle is over. Head over to the Operations tab on the strategic map and select the Treat Wounds option. Place the medic and the wounded mercs in the Treatment window. Before your next battle, they will be fully healed.

Other ways to heal Mercs in Jagged Alliance 3

While in battle, supply medics with meds and first aid kits, as this will restore health for the mercs. If a medic is wounded, they can self heal if you click on the medic and press the N key. If you have run out of meds and supplies, your mercs can also self heal as time passes. But the healing rate will be very low, and it will take a long time. If you have enough cash, visit hospitals in your settlements to quickly treat them.
