Most guns are obtained when scavenging around Grand Chien sectors. Sometimes, you can get them from enemy drops, or secret caches. The AK-74 is also a random drop, so you have to explore the different sectors to find it. You can visit the underground section in B10, Landsbach in B13, or other sections of the map. There is a slight chance it drops from enemies, especially from The Major. If you follow Biff’s questline, you can find and beat The Major to get the AK-74. But like mentioned before, the chance of receiving it is random. So if you don’t get it the first time, try again.
The AK-74 is customizable, and offers 15 Damage, 24 Range, and 8% critical damage. It has medium armor penetration, making it a highly sought-after weapon.
