To increase your build area and upgrade base territory, head over to the Memetics menu and select the Building menu. Under the 3nd section, you will find Territory Expansion. Select it to unlock the territory expansion by a bit. This won’t work if you have other players setting up base nearby, so before you build your base pick a less inhabited area so you can get more space to expand
Once you have the territory expansion 1 unlocked, you can then head over to the Territory Cores structure. Select the option to Upgrade Territory, then confirm your selection. Depending on how many upgrades you did, you can expand your territory by several levels. This will give you more freedom to improve your base and place more structures and items within it
