- Once you reach Level 13 proficiency with this starter gun, you can unlock the Kastov 545.
With the new release of Modern Warfare 2, weapon unlocking has changed. Weapons are now divided into Platforms, and each Platform starts with a single gun. When you customize that specific gun in Gunsmith, you will find a new attachment called a Receiver. It is the foundation for your weapon builds.
