The Flashlight is one of the first tools you should unlock in Subnautica 2. It helps you see clearly in dark caves, underwater wrecks, and other hard-to-see areas, making exploration much safer and easier, especially at night. How to Unlock Flashlight
Flashlight is one of the most useful gadgets to get early on in Subnautica 2. In order to find the gadget, two fragments for the flashlight have to be scanned using the scanner. A flashlight is a very important device because it allows players to see clearly in dark areas. This gadget will make exploring dark places easy, especially at night.
First Flashlight Fragment Location
To collect your first piece, you need to leave your Lifepod and swim towards the place where there are many large bubbles that appear in orange. When you dive towards these bubbles, you will see a box lying on the sea floor, and below this box lies your first Flashlight fragment.
Second Flashlight Fragment Location
Go straight down underwater, and you should see the opening to a cave below you. Dive into the cave and explore it. You will find another piece of the Flashlight there. Once scanned, the blueprint for the Flashlight will be unlocked instantly in the Tools section.
How to Craft the Flashlight
After scanning both the pieces, head back to your Lifepod and utilise the Fabricator. Navigate to Personal and select Tools; here, you should find Flashlight as an option to craft. For crafting a Flashlight, you will require 2 Titanium, 1 quartz, and 1 Basic Battery.
