Dredge is the latest fishing adventure game released on 30th March 2023. When the entire game is about catching and selling fish, players need to be careful about the Fishing Rods and try to unlock new Fishing Rods to access new depths of the sea and catch fish. Abyssal and Hadal are two fishing categories players can unlock in the game, though they are a bit challenging to unlock. Abyssal and Hadal Fishing Unlocking Process in Dredge- How to Unlock?
Dredge is one of the different types of adventure games. Generally, the games we play are action-adventure games, but it is a Fishing-adventure game. So, the story and actions in this game are a bit different than others. In action-adventure games, players need to focus on their weapons and armor. But in the Fishing Adventure game, players must focus on their Fishing rods and categories from the beginning.
The game has different Fishing Categories, and most of them unlock as you progress through the Research Tree. However, the Abyssal and Hadal categories can’t be unlocked similarly. Instead, players must complete the quest named ‘Collect all Samples’ to unlock the fishing rog with Abyssal ability.
During this quest, players must find a Firefly Squid, a Glowing Octopus, and an Aurora Jellyfish. All these can be found at night, and you can get them in any order. Firefly Squid can be found on the Southwest side of Steller Basin. You need a trawler or a Rod to catch them. Glowing Octopus can be found in the interior section of the Steller Basin. These are found near the tentacle horror. Use Rod or Crab Pot to catch them. Finally, the Aurora Jellyfish can be found randomly in the Steller Basin, and players can use Trawler to catch them.
Once you get all three fish, return to the Researcher who gave you the task, and again she will send you to another location which is the outpost at the Northwest side of the Steller Basin, to inspect the equipment on the table and it will help you get the Prototype Parts. Return to the Researcher with them, and you’ll get the Rod with Abyssal ability. The first Abyssal Rod you get is the Sampling Device.
Once you have the Sampling Device, use one Single Research Part for the Fishing Rod on the Upgrade tree. Research outposts have Prototype Parts available, so you can grab them whenever needed. Once the rod is upgraded, visit Rusty Pontoon to get Bottomless Lines and attach them to the rod to get Hadal Ability.
