The First Descendant is one of the most anticipated third-person cooperative RPG Shooter games by Nexon Games. Though the official game has no news to release sooner, the beta version of the game will go live on 20th October. This game is set in a Sci-fi universe with Descendant and Vulgas as the main protagonist and villains. The story revolves around the Descendant freeing the world from the evil Vulgas.

Throughout the game, players will get lots of missions to complete, but the tricky part is these missions won’t start automatically. So here you have to figure out how to start missions in The First Descendant.

Beginning a Mission in The First Descendant- How to Do?

In First Descendant, the game starts with a fight, and then players will be transferred to Albion. Once you are teleported to Albion, you will get the missions you need to complete to progress through the game. The first missions need to be completed in the Lost Village Kingstone.

Players must be directly teleported to Lost Village Kingstone by opening their maps or interacting with the Albion Terminal portals. There is no other way to go there. Now, once you are in Kingstone, your first mission will be to retrieve data from the broken detectors, but you can’t start the mission as soon as you arrive. Even after the cutscene ends, you can’t start a mission if you don’t know how to start it.

To start missions in Kingstone, players need to interact with a mechanism that looks like the image below-

You’ll find it a little away from where you were talking to the Dispatch Commander Schale. Go near it, and you have to interact with it by pressing the instructed button on the screen. For example, PC players need to press ‘E’ to interact with it. Once you interact with it, this mechanism will be activated, and your mission will officially begin.

That’s all you need to know about how to start a mission in The First Descendant. These missions are pretty challenging as you have to fight tons of Halflings and other enemies to complete them. However, the only relaxing thing is that players don’t need to start from the beginning if they die. They will immediately respawn at the same point. Once you complete a mission and get another, look for this mechanism around. Generally, they are found near where you ended your previous mission. Then, interact with it again to start a new mission.
