Hydreigon is a Dark/Dragon type, and its Tera types will vary depending on which raid you are going for. To counter Hydreigon, you can use any Pokémon that has Ice, Fairy, Fighting, Bug, and Dragon-type moves. Hydreigon might have the Levitate ability, giving it immunity against Ground-type moves. Besides that, it can use a combination of Fire, Dragon, Steel, Rock, Fighting, and Ground-type moves in battle. Some of Hydreigon’s movesets might include:

  • Stone Edge
  • Crunch
  • Dark Pulse
  • Nasty Plot
  • Focus Blast
  • Dragon Pulse
  • Draco Meteor
  • Fire Blast
  • Earthquake
  • Flash Cannon

Having a Fairy-type Pokémon in your team can help you withstand Dragon, Dark, and Fighting-type moves, so it will take reduced or no damage from Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Crunch, and Focus Blast. It could take damage from Flash Cannon and Fire Blast, so you will need the appropriate Pokémon to help with defense. Having any of the Pokémon carry Shell Bells or Leftovers will help with HP.

Aromatic Mist, Calm Mind, or any other move that will help boost the Special Defense stat of self and allies will be beneficial here, as Hydreigon mostly deals with Special Attacks. You should also focus your EV spread more on Special Defense or Attack, and include HP. The rest can be put in a stat that you ignored previously. Also, having moves like Helping Hand, Swords Dance, or Play Rough may help in increasing the attack stat of allies while lowering it for Hydreigon. As for the Tera Type, you should change your Pokémon’s Tera type opposite to the Tera battle you pick.
