The most common way to get Counter Strike 2 to work again on Mac is to download tools like Apple Bootcamp or Parallel. This will help you install Windows or Linux on your Mac devices to run CS2. You can then download the game through the Steam application. If that is not your cup of tea, you can also use a porting kit. The porting kit also performs the same function of a third party application. Once you have downloaded and installed your porting kit, search and download Steam. Once the installation process for Steam is done, you can then sign in like you would do and search for Counter Strike 2. Download the game and run it and you are good to go.
While this method helps you play the game, it doesn’t cover several features. Most players reported that they are able to play with bots, but are unable to queue for matchmaking. Using a porting kit seems to run the anti-cheating feature in CS2, so players are unable to join an actual match. If this method fails, using a third party application and installing Windows is the best way to run CS2 on Mac.
