The Vajra Armguard is one of the hardest-to-find pieces of armor in Black Myth Wukong. Even though Black Myth Wukong gives out armor sets pretty often, the Vajra Armguard is still very special. You usually get new armor or weapon upgrades after beating a big boss or finishing a chapter.
Some special armor sets and pieces can only be found by doing extra side quests or beating specific enemies. The Vajra Armguard is one of these rare items. You’ll need to fight a special type of enemy to have a chance at getting it. It’s a tough drop, so you might need to fight a lot of them.
How to obtain the Vajra Armguard
The Vajra Armguard is a random item that you might get from Clay Vajra enemies. These enemies are only in the New Thunderclap Temple. There are only three of them, and one is a special mini-boss that you can’t fight again after you beat it. To find these enemies, you need to go to Chapter 3: The New West.
You can start your search at the Thunderclap Temple Entrance Keeper’s Shrine. But the easiest way to find the Clay Vajra enemies is to start at the Mahavira Hall Shrine. The first Clay Vajra is on the path to the left of the Thunderclap Temple, near where you fight the Monk from the Sea.
The second Clay Vajra is in an open area to the right of the Thunderclap Temple. You can get there by going through a small shrine-like building that leads to the Non-Void boss. But instead of going up to the boss arena, turn left from the shrine and go to the open area.
Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed number of tries it takes to get the Vajra Armguard in Black Myth Wukong. You might get lucky and find it right away, or it could take a long time. Luckily, the Clay Vajra enemies aren’t very hard to beat, so farming them isn’t too difficult.
How to use the Vajra Armguard
The Vajra Armguard is a great piece of armor to use with other armor sets and items that make Mysticism spells stronger and increase your chance of critical hits. It works really well with the Ochre Set and the Bronze Set, making it useful for different fighting styles in Black Myth Wukong.
Ochre Set
The Ochre Set is a great choice to use with the Vajra Armguard. When you use Focus points, the Ochre Set increases your chance of getting a critical hit. This means you can do more damage during important fights, which is perfect for the Vajra Armguard’s ability to cast spells often.
Bronze Set
The Vajra Armguard is also great to use with the Bronze Set. When you make an enemy stop moving, the Bronze Set gives you increased damage. This is a good combination for players who like to use the Vajra Armguard’s immobilization abilities. It helps you do more damage when you hit an enemy that’s stopped.
