At this point, Genshin Impact 4.0’s Fontaine has become synonymous with fun. With so many fun puzzles around, so much generous treasure floating around and such an intriguing underwater landscape- players can’t get enough of them. Some hardcore completionists and even avid explorers are surely on their way to collecting Hydroculi and other local items as much as they can. One such Hydroculus lies underwater- southwest of Opera Epiclese and it’s locked in a puzzle. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to solve it.
How to Solve the Underwater Puzzle Southwest of Opera Epiclese in Genshin Impact 4.0
Go northeast from the Teleport Waypoint southwest of the Opera Epiclese. When you reach the location of the Hydroculus, you’ll see it locked behind a puzzle. There are two mechanisms that you’ll need to unlock to open the seals to the building. Both of these mechanisms have a stream of water guiding you to their respective puzzle.
Use the Xenochromatic Armored Crab’s ability to solve both of the puzzles by disrupting the water currents and allowing the ball into the ring hole.
Solve the second puzzle similarly. There’s a hidden water current that you’ll have to break open a rock formation to activate. Use your elemental vision to quickly detect the rock formation and then break it with the Armored Crab’s skill. After both the balls have been restored back to their holes, the mechanisms will automatically unlock for interaction.
Interact with the devices and the seal will unlock. You can obtain the Precious chest inside and the Hydroculus. After you exit the place go directly above the building and you’ll notice one of those Water streams that you can enter. Click enter and at the end of the line, you’ll also easily obtain the second Hydroculus as indicated on the picture at the beginning.
