The process to increase your Pokémon storage is quite easy, as the game will automatically do it for you. Every time you move a Pokémon into your PC storage, you get one more box. If you fill all the initial 8 boxes, you unlock another 8. You don’t have to worry about running into less storage while storing your Pokémon, as you can easily get 32 boxes max. To get extra storage space, just head over to your Boxes menu and place one Pokémon in each of the opened boxes. Exit to the main menu, then load back in. If you visit the Boxes menu again, you will notice that the storage has grown, with an additional 8 boxes at your disposal. Of course, this is a manual way to increase storage, but as stated before, the game will increase your storage automatically as you keep filling it up with Pokémon.
