Langston’s Apartment in Control Resonant might be a little bit hard to find since the game will lead you to the Sinkhole area without having the key yet. First, you need to talk to Langston in the Field Office and get the key for his apartment. Once you’ve got that, you can head to the Sinkhole and walk along the designated route to the apartment.
How to get to Langston’s Apartment
Before starting the Sinkhole mission, however, you will have to acquire the key to Langston’s apartment. While the main quest will lead you to the Sinkhole, do not pay attention to it yet and head back to the Field Office. Go to the nearest Fast Travel Door, go to Langston, and start a conversation with him. This way, you will receive the key to Langston’s apartment and can proceed with the side quest.
Move southeast from Central and go to the Evacuation Zone. Then, move to the Sinkhole next to the Laundromat using the entrance to the laundromat that you had already used when completing the Into the Sinkhole quest.
Going down to the Sinkhole via the laundromat, you will have to open the electrical box to collect the Power Upgrade Point (1/3). To increase your Power stat, you will have to collect three such points.
Following the corridors with the CHASM AHEAD sign and going past the FBC checkpoint, use Levitate to get down to the shaft with the residential platforms. Wait for the airlock to complete its function, and continue moving to the Personnel Access checkpoint.
After that, keep following the yellow line and arrow leading you through the floating platforms. Continue moving northward until you find Ranger Dombrow seated in an illuminated living room where the television is on. Talk to him.
Ranger Dombrow does not wish to go any further in the place. His partner entered, screamed, and never returned, and therefore, Ranger Dombrow chooses to remain where he is and report that nothing was found there. Remember the place since you will need to come back here after some time.
Keep going with the yellow line and moving forward from one wall opening to another. You will soon find yourself at a solitary door number 5 located in a dark place over the void. Cross the wooden bridge and unlock the door using the Langston’s Apartment Key.
