While playing Persona 5: Royal, you will have to upgrade your girlfriends and confidants to get them to a required level and unlock new aspects of the game. Here we will see how to get the Third Semester unlocked in Persona 5: Royal.
First and foremost, you need to rank up the confidant Takuto Maruki, who is the new Arcana Councilor. You can meet him after completing Kamoshida’s Palace and unlocking Shujin Academy. You need to level up the Councilor to Level 9 before November 17th. If you miss your chance, you will be locked out of the option to get the Third Semester palace. If you do manage to reach rank 9 on or before November 17th, Maruki will be automatically ranked to level 10 on November 18th. You can start your counseling sessions with him very early during his introduction days, so it is quite easy to rank him before September is up.
To experience the Third Semester completely it is best to rank up Kasumi. Having Kasumi at Rank 5 before December 22 will keep her social link active. As for the other confidants, if their social links are already at level 10 and they have their second evolution active, you can unlock the third evolution after getting the Third Semester and visiting them in January.
